Pat unlocked the front door of his home and gave a weary sigh as he ran a hand through his thinning hair. He’d had his share of women in his day. The only one he’d ever truly loved was his daughter. He’d done a passable job of raisin’ the girl, had seen her go off to college and now, according to her last letter, she was engaged to a good, strong man. He smiled to himself, pleased that his daughter had found both fulfillment and happiness. Still, after Meaghan had left him, he’d harbored a deep distrust of most women.

That Morganna, though, she was something special. Not just beautiful, although none could deny that. Despite his rough treatment of the woman, Pat found a soft spot in his heart for her. The fact that she had mourned his brother’s loss and now might lose her daughter as well tugged at him. The woman had seen more than her share of sorrow and he’d not see Morganna hurt by the loss of her daughter. Not if he could help it. A woman’s heart was a delicate and complicated thing. Nonetheless, it appeared she enjoyed the firm hand of a man, not that he couldn’t be gentle as well, but Morganna herself had admitted—more or less—that she needed and wanted to be tamed as well as loved.

Pat scratched his belly and hollered, “Morganna, get your little fairy arse to me!”

For a moment nothing happened, and Pat felt a wave of disappointment. Then he heard a noise. He turned and saw Morganna standing in a corner of the room.

“You called for me?” she asked.

Pat smiled, genuinely pleased, then quickly replaced the smile with a frown. “Took your time about getting’ here too,” he said.

“I apologize. I will answer with more punctuality next time. What is it you wish of me?” Morganna inquired.

“You know what to do, woman,” Pat declared.

Morganna nodded and walked to him. She unlatched his belt and began to remove his pants.

“The shirt too, this time.”

Morganna immediately began unbuttoning his shirt, removed it and neatly folded it. She then removed his shoes, socks and pants, placing them beside the shirt. Pat grunted his approval. Next she knelt before him and raised her eyes. “Will you guide me again?”

Rather than respond, Pat simply grabbed a handful of her dark hair and forced her mouth over his penis. Morganna’s eyes watered as the tip of his shaft pummeled against the back of her throat. Still, she offered no complaint nor did she attempt to pull away from him. Harder and harder he thrust her head against him. When he was almost ready to explode in her mouth, he pushed her away. She landed sprawled on the floor before him.

“That’s enough of that now.”

Morganna dropped her head. “I have displeased you again.”

For a moment Pat’s eyes softened. In no way had she displeased him. Just the fact that it so obviously upset her to think that she had, Pat found endearing. He staunched his impulse to reach out and pet her curling hair.
